ARSENAL WILL FACE North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the third round of the Capital One Cup while Aston Villa will host near neighbours Birmingham in another derby.
Chelsea will begin the defence of the trophy they lifted at Wembley in February with a trip to League One Walsall while Manchester United will welcome Ipswich Town to Old Trafford.
Liverpool also face lower league opposition in the form of Carlisle and Manchester City travel to Sunderland in one of three all Premier League fixtures.
The ties will be played the week commencing 21 September.
