SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP CHAMPIONS Celtic were held to a 2-2 draw away to Kilmarnock this evening, with a late penalty for the hosts denying Celtic a third victory in a row to start the campaign.
Leigh Griffiths put them ahead early on, before a goal from Josh Magennis drew Killie level after 44 minutes.
However, it didn’t last long, as Celtic’s Isreali midfielder Nir Bitton let fly with the outside of the right foot, sending the ball swerving into the top corner for an absolute screamer.
Continuing the theme of goals in palindromic minutes, Kilmarnock saved a point in the 88th minute when Kallum Higginbothan showed nerves of steel to chip in a perfect Panenka penalty to equalise.
Oh take a bow.
