IS THIS REALLY happening again?
The Chicago Bulls are waiting anxiously for news on perennially injured star Derrick Rose who limped out of their defeat against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night.
Rose, who is coming back from two serious knee surgeries and has already missed eight games this season, didn’t play the second half due to a hamstring problem.
He played it down afterwards and told reporters: “It wasn’t nothing like I’m limping or I pulled it or anything, it wasn’t any of that.
“It was just that I wasn’t moving the way I wanted to while I was on the floor.”
Coach Tom Thibodeau said: ”I didn’t want to take a chance.”
Elsewhere, Steph Curry was in another one of his unstoppable moods.
He scored 40 points — including eight three-pointers — as the Golden State Warriors trounced the Miami Heat 114-97.
As if that wasn’t impressive enough, Curry also had seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and a block.
It was his best night of the season so far but still a good bit short of his career high: this brilliant 54-point haul against the Knicks in February 2013.
