DUBLIN AND KILDARE maintained their unbeaten runs in the O’Byrne Cup tonight to remain on course for a semi-final place.
In Group A, Dublin overcame a three-point deficit at the break against Offaly to fashion an ultimate four-point win in Parnell Park. Elsewhere in this group there was an upset in Portarlington as Laois were defeated by Maynooth University by 0-18 to 1-7.

Next Sunday’s final round of games will see Dublin travel to Portarlington to take on Laois while Offaly will be at home to Maynooth University.
In Group B, a last-gasp goal by Padraig Fogarty handed Kildare victory over Carlow by a point in Athy. After last Sunday’s win over Louth, Kildare are now in a strong position to top the group and reach the last four.
But they will face a battle against the students of UCD before securing that semi-final place. UCD won their second successive game tonight with a two-point success over Louth and now take on Kildare in a crunch clash next Sunday.
Group A
Dublin 0-17 Offaly 0-13
Maynooth University 0-18 Laois 1-7
