It’s National Anthem time in Croke Park. Not too long to throw-in now.

Throw-in! Dublin v Tyrone

1 min: Dublin 0-0 Tyrone 0-0

Conditions are greasy in Croke Park as Dublin go on the first attack. Killian McGinnis went for it off his left but was denied by the post.

2 mins: Dublin 0-0 Tyrone 0-2

Kieran McGeary raises the first orange flag of the day with a booming kick from a quickly taken free. First blood to Tyrone.

3 mins: Dublin 0-1 Tyrone 0-2

GOAL MISS!

Cormac Costello tries to squeeze the ball through to the bottom corner from a really tight angle. But it’s deflected out for a ’45 which Stephen Cluxton comes up to convert.

It all came from a turnover which sent Eoin Murchan on a terrific solo run down the field. He popped the ball out to Costello for that shot at the goal.

5 mins: Dublin 0-1 Tyrone 0-4

Peter Teague provides Tyrone’s second two-pointer of the day. And from their second shot at the posts. Brilliant start for Malachy O’Rourke’s side.

6 mins: Dublin 0-1 Tyrone 0-4

Darren McCurry kicks Tyrone’s first wide of the day. McGinnis underkicks a shot at the other end that lands in Niall Morgan’s hands.

Dublin have the ball again though and are working possession around.

8 mins: Dublin 0-2 Tyrone 0-4

Peadar O Cofaigh Byrne draws the foul from Brian Kennedy in front of the posts. It’s an easy tap-over for Costello. Gap is down to two now.

9 mins: Dublin 0-3 Tyrone 0-4

Costello gets his second on the bounce. Dublin turned the ball over on McGeary and quickly countered, popping the ball through the hands and putting Costello through for the simple handpass over the bar.

Just one between them now.

10 mins: Dublin 0-3 Tyrone 0-6

John Small slices that badly and it’s a third wide for Dublin. Peter Harte, a late starter for today, then thumps one from downtown to mark Tyrone’s third two-pointer of the first half.

10 mins: Dublin 0-3 Tyrone 0-6

Tyrone change: Seanie O’Donnell is forced off for a blood sub as Michael O’Neill comes in.

12 mins: Dublin 0-4 Tyrone 0-6

A third point for Cormac Costello after a misplaced pass in the Tyrone defence. Lee Gannon also had a shot at the posts but his effort dropped short.

Just two between the teams but Dessie Farrell will not be happy with Dublin’s inaccuracy.

14 mins: Dublin 0-5 Tyrone 0-6

Another brilliant turnover by Dublin as they counter again. It ends with a super point for Brian O’Leary who was a late change today, starting ahead of Lorcan O’Dell.

Back to the minimum difference on the scoreboard.

15 mins: Dublin 0-5 Tyrone 0-6

Darragh Canavan the latest to suffer a Dublin turnover. But they don’t get the product as Paddy Small completely skews his shot and it’s both wide and short.

17 mins: Dublin 0-6 Tyrone 0-6

Second point for O’Leary and we are level in Croke Park. Brilliant start for the newcomer to the starting team.

Tyrone could do with a score. It’s been all Dublin for the last 10 minutes or so.

19 mins: Dublin 0-6 Tyrone 0-7

Darragh Canavan is off the mark with his first of the day to put Tyrone back in front. There were two counter attacks there. The first started with a well-timed intervention from O Cofaigh Byrne to set Dublin on the march.

But a hasty pass into the forwards was intercepted and a long ball in was punched away by Cluxton in the Dublin square. Canavan pounced on the loose ball and drilled it over.

20 mins: Dublin 0-7 Tyrone 0-7

Costello already up to four points. He loses his man with a lovely swivel and kicks the equaliser.

Meanwhile, O’Donnell is back in for Tyrone.

21 mins: Dublin 0-8 Tyrone 0-7

Niall Scully gives Dublin the lead for the first time. He’s been lively so far.

21 mins: Dublin 0-8 Tyrone 0-7

Tyrone force Gannon to overcarry and that’s a huge defensive win for Tyrone.

22 mins: Dublin 0-8 Tyrone 0-9

Another two-pointer for Peter Harte and a fourth orange flag for Tyrone. Tyrone regain the advantage once more and Dublin need to be more alert to that long-range kicking in the opposition.

24 mins: Dublin 0-8 Tyrone 0-9

Scully carries the ball way down the field and lays off to Costello. He brings the ball back out and after some interplay, he gets on the end of the move but his left-footed effort doesn’t make the right connection and Morgan sets Tyrone off again.

27 mins: Dublin 0-8 Tyrone 0-9

BLOCK!

Seán MacMahon gets his body in the way of a shot by Rory Brennan who ghosted in behind the Dublin cover and collected a brilliant pass from Conn Kilpatrick.

Dublin win a free at the other end for a late push on Costello. And he will take it.

27 mins: Dublin 0-9 Tyrone 0-9

He swings the ball over and we’re all square again.

28 mins: Dublin 0-9 Tyrone 0-9

Poor effort from McCurry. He had a great chance to push Tyrone out in front once more but it’s another dropped shot in this first half.

30 mins: Dublin 0-9 Tyrone 0-9

Morgan tries a two-pointer off the outside of the right boot but it’s off target. Dublin find O’Leary again as he wins a battle in the air and draws the foul from Pádraig Hampsey. Dublin have the chance to take the lead again.

32 mins: Dublin 0-9 Tyrone 0-10

It was a difficult position and Costello couldn’t get enough curl on that shot. Tyrone also have a free after a well worked attack which put O’Donnell through. He was dispossessed but the referee rules that the ball was touched on the ground and it’s an easy kick for McCurry to put Tyrone ahead again.

33 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-10

LEVEL!!

O Cofaigh Byrne makes an excellent fetch. He feeds the ball to McGinnis and it’s 0-10 apiece with half-time looming.

34 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-10

Scully lines up O’Donnell with the shoulder and knocks the ball away. Referee is happy with the contact and Dublin have the ball back.

They’re slowing the play down and may decide to run out the clock.

35 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-10

Tyrone win the ball back and win a free. Dublin will be disappointed that Seán Bugler didn’t kick a point there.

35 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

McCurry gives Tyrone the lead at the break.

Half-Time! Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

Absorbing first half.

The lead has passed over and back. Tyrone have kicked four two-pointers and there’s been hints of goal chances at both ends.

Malachy O’Rourke’s side hold the one-point advantage at the break but there’s a lot more football to be played.

Second Half: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

We’re back underway in Croke Park.

35 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

No changes at half-time as Dublin start the first attack of the second half.

37 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

Brian Howard gives the ball away and Tyrone get the ball quickly down the field where Gannon commits the foul on McGeary from behind.

McCurry puts it up high in the air but he’s off target with that one.

38 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

The Tyrone inside forward line haven’t really caught fire yet. But their defence are starting to get to grips on the Dublin forwards. They win another free and can start to build up the field again.

38 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

Canavan takes a shot under pressure but he didn’t get under that right at all. It’s another wide for Tyrone.

41 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

Some really bad shooting today as Costello slices his shot badly for Dublin. While the game has been tight, the quality on show has not been great so far.

Conditions can’t be overstated though. That ball is soap in their hands.

41 mins: Dublin 0-10 Tyrone 0-11

COSTELLO MISS!

Another goal chance goes unclaimed. Costello snuck in after losing his man once again with that brilliant turn. But he didn’t get the connection right with his shot and the ball bounced harmlessly wide.

That was a huge chance and could have been a massive turning point.

There’s a break in play now as two Tyrone players require treatment, Peter Teague and Rory Brennan. It looks like they clashed into each other.

43 mins: Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-11

Dublin grab a point after a quickly taken free which sees Paddy Small knock the ball over and level the game for the fourth time.

But Costello is livid. He wanted the ball as he was through for another possible goal chance.

43 mins: Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-12

Canavan clips his shot over to negate that Dublin point.

Tyrone change: Rory Brennan is off and is replaced by Ben Mc Donnell.

Dublin change: Cian Murphy comes on for McGinnis.

45 mins: Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-12

Howard went for a two-pointer but it doesn’t come off for him. Tyrone have the shooters for that job but it’s something that Dublin have struggled with this season.

Meanwhile, Con O’Callaghan is warming up on the sideline. Will we be seeing him?

45 mins: Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-13

TWO BETWEEN THEM!

Ciarán Daly with a vital score off his right. Tyrone are really in a purple patch now.

47 mins: Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-14

Niall Devlin the latest to score for Tyrone. That could be huge sequence for Tyrone. Canavan’s input in that move must be noted. He arrowed a lovely pass across to open up the field and create that move.

Daly had a sniff of a goal chance but was forced back as Devlin rushed in to assist.

48 mins: Dublin 0-11 Tyrone 0-14

Paddy Small and Howard combine as Dublin slowly work the ball around.

49 mins: Dublin 0-12 Tyrone 0-14

CON IS IN!

O’Callaghan is on the field for Brian O’Leary. Costello had just kicked a point that squeezed over after Lee Gannon’s shot came back off the post.

50 mins: Dublin 0-12 Tyrone 0-14

Another Dublin shot into the keeper’s hands. This time it’s Seán Bugler and those missed opportunities are killing them.

Canavan likewise at the other end. His radar is off today compared with his usual standards.

50 mins: Dublin 0-12 Tyrone 0-14

Massive workrate there from Tyrone to force Dublin to concede a ’45. Morgan is coming up to take.

52 mins: Dublin 0-12 Tyrone 0-15

And it’s over the bar!

Tyrone’s lead is back to three once more. Meanwhile, Eoin Mc Elholm has come on in place of Curry.

52 mins: Dublin 0-13 Tyrone 0-15

Con on song!

He creates space for himself with a little dummy and curls the ball over. Just two between them again.

53 mins: Dublin 0-13 Tyrone 0-15

Dublin using a bit of lateral play to try and draw Tyrone out.

55 mins: Dublin 0-14 Tyrone 0-15

BLOCK!

McGeary with a super block down on Costello which sees the ball spill out to the corner. He had nowhere to go but Harte came in and fouled needlessly.

Dublin work the ball out to Ciarán Kilkenny who brings Dublin to within one of Tyrone.

55 mins: Dublin 0-14 Tyrone 0-15

Mattie Donnelly kicks Tyrone’s seventh wide of the game as Scully goes down holding his face.

56 mins: Dublin 0-14 Tyrone 0-15

Scully looks a little shaken and he will be coming off. Luke Breathnach is on as a temporary substitution.

57 mins: Dublin 0-14 Tyrone 0-16

Daly with his second of the game.

It came from an interception on Cluxton’s kickout. He was aiming for John Small but Brian Kennedy came thundering across and nabbed the ball away. Tyrone charged down, got the ball to Daly and the gap is back out to two.

57 mins: Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-16

Paddy Small lobs over his second and it’s a one-point contest once more. We’re in for a grandstand final 10 minutes.

57 mins: Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-16

MORGAN!!

What a touch from the Tyrone keeper. So, so vital. Dublin were in for a goal there and Breathnach tried to play the ball across for a palmed finish to the net. But Morgan got his hand up just enough to deflect the ball away.

58 mins: Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-16

Dublin change: Peadar Ó Cofaigh Byrne is replaced by Tom Lahiff.

Tyrone change: Peter Teague makes way for Conor Meyler

59 mins: Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-16

Bugler wide!

Another missed chance for Dublin. They won the Tyrone kickout, had the momentum to punish Tyrone but that’s a bad miss. Tyrone will now look to make Dublin pay.

60 mins: Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-16

Kennedy attempts a two-pointer that sails wide. Both sides guilty of missing chances.

63 mins: Dublin 0-15 Tyrone 0-17

Eoin McElholm turns on the afterburners, takes on his man and fires the ball between the posts. That could be a huge score.

Con tries to reduce the gap at the other end but strikes Dublin’s ninth wide instead.

Tyrone change: Ruairí Canavan on for Peter Harte

63 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-17

Mistakes aplenty on both sides as Dublin win a scrappy ball. Luke Breathnach finishes the move with a brilliant point. It’s all to play for down the home straight.

64 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-17

DUBLIN FREE!

Superb intensity from Dublin there to force a turnover and win a free which could lead to another equaliser. Cluxton is on the way.

64 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-17

MISS!!

It was a difficult shot from outside the ’45 and Cluxton couldn’t knock it between the posts.

66 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-18

Tyrone are two ahead!!

Ruairí Canavan makes Dublin pay for that miss. Can Dublin produce a response?

66 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-18

Time is running out for Dublin but they have the ball again.

67 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-18

Tyrone turn the ball over and they will be happy to just keep possession now.

67 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-19

Ben McDonnell showing the impact of Tyrone’s bench here. That could be such a crucial point.

Dublin will need a goal if they are to force extra-time or sneak a win.

68 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-21

That!

Must!

Surely!

Be!

That!

Darragh Canavan followed by his brother Ruairí! What a finish from Tyrone.

68 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-21

There’s really no way back for Dublin now. Time is almost up and Niall Morgan is lining up a free for the final sign-off.

68 mins: Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-23

And he drills it over from distance. It’s a two-pointer to finish the day.

Full-Time! Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-23

Dublin 0-16 Tyrone 0-23

Well, what about that for a finish?

Tyrone hit the last six points of the day including two-pointers to swat Dublin aside and progress to the All-Ireland semi-finals.

It was a scrappy contest throughout but Tyrone were the ones to come out of the arm wrestle with the seven-point win and book their pace in the final four.

So, that’s Donegal and Tyrone who are the first two to advance to the semi-finals. There’s two more big games coming up tomorrow in Croke Park as Galway face Meath and Kerry clash with Armagh.

Well, that’s all from us today, folks. Stay tuned for Fintan O’Toole’s match report live from Croke Park and we hope you’ll be back with us again tomorrow for another quarter-final double-header.

Bye for now!
