Watch: Dundalk's Patrick McEleney can't stop scoring wonder goals at the moment

The 24-year-old has consistently stood out for the Lilywhites this season.

CORK CITY ARE the in-form team in the League of Ireland right now, but few individual players are performing as well as Patrick McEleney at the moment.

The 24-year-old has consistently stood out for a Dundalk team that has had its problems this season.

After his superb effort against Drogheda last week — by no means his first spectacular goal this season — McEleney scored another beauty amid his side’s impressive 3-0 win over Bray at the Carlisle Grounds, as the reigning league champions consolidated second place in the table.

The former Ireland underage international came close to joining Peterborough during his Derry City days and if he keeps up this phenomenal level of form, English football will surely come calling again ultimately.
