Ex-Ireland U21 international makes full Premier League debut at Anfield

Liverpool, meanwhile, are unchanged for tonight’s encounter.

BOURNEMOUTH’S EUNAN O’KANE made his first-ever Premier League start against Liverpool at Anfield tonight.

The 25-year-old midfielder is a former Republic of Ireland U21 international, having switched allegiances from the North, who he also featured for at underage level.

The Derry native missed a substantial part of Bournemouth’s promotion campaign last season through injury, but featured from the bench against Aston Villa last week.

Liverpool, meanwhile, were unchanged from the team that secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Stoke last week.
