IF YOU’RE STILL hitting the gym hard or togging out for your team at this time of year, we salute you.

But no matter how experienced you are, we could all do with a little extra push from time to time.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a trio of leaders who we hope will help you with your training over the next 12 weeks.

First up is ex-Munster out-half Jonny Holland who, after having to retire from the sport through injury, qualified as a nutritionist and — in addition to talking about this career — will be giving advice on everything from pre-match meals to how to put on muscle in the preseason.

We’ll also have Saoirse Noonan, a dual star with the Cork ladies footballers and the Irish soccer team. Over the next three months she will discuss the challenges of training for multiple sports and attempting to win an All-Ireland and qualify for a World Cup in the same year.

Finally, The42‘s own Ryan Bailey will highlight the ups and downs of training for his first triathlon and the saddle sores and blisters that come with it in the next three months.

Ahead of the launch, we spoke to all three to give more details about what readers can expect:
