PUTTING JIM CARREY and Jeff Daniels on live TV is an unpredictable game as Sky Sports found out on Saturday.
The Hollywood stars were at the Emirates for Arsenal v Manchester United as part of their promotional tour for Dumb and Dumber To.
Did they know much about football? No, not really.
The highlights included:
- Some stellar photobombing by Carrey
- A lot of dodgy pronunciation of Arsenal (“I’ve been practising for all of about 90 minutes,” Daniels said)
- Analysis of some lad called Seth Morgan who apparently plays for “the Arsenals”
- A sudden conversational detour into “manscaping”
- And a terrace chant that the two wrote, performed in gloriously overbaked Cockney accents
“We’re all sacked,” reporter Geoff Shreeves joked afterwards. At least, we think he was joking.
