LIMERICK BOXER LEE Reeves is “making progress,” according to Queensbury promoter Frank Warren.
Reeves remains in hospital after a knockout in his fight at the 3Arena on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old was up against Kildare’s Gary Cully when he sustained a last round knockout.
There was concern for Reeves in the wake of the incident as he remained unconscious as he was removed from the arena.
Warren said yesterday: “My team have been in touch with Lee Reeves’ team and he is making progress. That is what we’re hearing and thank the Lord for that.”
The promoter compared Reeves’ situation to that of British boxer Raven Chapman who suffered a serious injury last weekend, collapsing after a sparring session in Denmark.
“With him and with Raymond it’s all about time. Time hopefully can be a healer.”
Warren added that he hoped Reeves would be able to “get back to his family as soon as possible”.
