PODGE AND SEAN Collins return to Clare’s starting line-up for tomorrow’s Munster senior football quarter-final against Waterford in Ennis.
The pair missed out on the Division 4 football league final loss to Tipperary in April as they were in Portugal with Davy Fitzgerald’s senior hurling side on a training camp.
Their availability is a major boost for Clare, who are managed by Colm Collins – father of Podge and Sean. It makes for a busy schedule for the duo with Clare in Munster senior hurling action next Sunday June 15th against Cork or Waterford.
They return to the starting line-up as there are three changes made from the Croke Park defeat in that league decider. Goalkeeper Joe Hayes replaces Pierce De Loughrey while the Collins brothers are included at the expense of Shane Brennan and the injured Cathal O’Connor.
