Rory McIlroy ate broccoli topped with blueberry yoghurt to win a $50 bet with G-Mac

Is this the first sign that the $250m Nike deal is about to fall through?

RORY MCILROY IS tipped to become Nike’s latest marquee signing in a 10-year deal worth a whopping $250 million — but that doesn’t mean he was going to pass up an easy few quid at breakfast yesterday.

The world number one won $50 from old buddy Graeme McDowell, who bet him that he wouldn’t eat a bowl of broccoli topped off with blueberry yoghurt for breakfast.

Easy money, no matter how many millions you’ve got in the bank. Judging by the smile on Rory’s face, he enjoyed the gastronomic experiment.
