The Ryder Cup sign guy had one job... and he messed it up

Just how do you misspell Jimmy?

LOOK, NOBODY’S PERFECT and even TheScore.ie has been known to make the odd spelling mistake over the years but you have to wonder if the Ryder Cup mind games have started already when the guy whose job it was to make the signs for the driving range at Gleneagles this week misspelled the name Jimmy.

In fairness to whoever the unnamed sign maker is, Jordan Spieth has an unusual surname so you can forgive this mistake:

However, getting Jimmy Walker’s name wrong is rather less forgiveable:

Of course, it could be a deliberate ploy to get under the skin of the Americans?
