The LOI's top two clubs scored pretty special goals in the latest matchweek

Karl Sheppard and Stephen O’Donnell produced very different finishes, but both were things of beauty.

Up in Oriel Park, the reigning champions Dundalk lost further ground on their title rivals after going down 3-1 to high-flying Bray Wanderers.

But the Lilywhites did score an expertly-worked goal. A sweeping passing move involving Chris Shields, Michael Duffy and David McMillan was finished off with a delicate chip from captain Stephen O’Donnell.
