Stephen Curry matched an NBA record for three-pointers last night.

STEPH CURRY AND Klay Thompson combined to lift the Golden State Warriors past the Miami Heat 118-112 in the NBA last night.

Curry posted 42 points, including the go-ahead jump shot with 39 seconds remaining as the Warriors improved to 51-5 for the season.

The reigning MVP also tied Kyle Korver’s record for consecutive regular-season games with a three-pointer after scoring from beyond the arc for the 127th game in a row.

Klay Thompson contributed 33 points, 17 of those coming in the final quarter, as the Warriors overturned an early 12-point deficit to win a third-consecutive game.

The Heat were led by a season-high 32 points from Dwyane Wade.

Elsewhere, LeBron James helped the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 114-103 win at home to the Charlotte Hornets.

The Hornets and their five-game winning streak came to an end as James and Kyrie Irving scored 23 points apiece.

Kemba Walker had 20 points for the Hornets.
