Video: The perfect workout to burn fat and tone core areas

AFTER EMBARKING ON a new fitness or health kick, we’re all guilty of seeking instant gratification – but the reality is that we’re instead forced to be patient before seeing tangible results.

There are, however, certain programmes and circuits that target core areas and can help us go along way to achieving the goals we set out to attain.

With the help of personal trainer Vinny Gough, The42 want to help you lead a healthier life and achieve the results you always wanted.

Each week we’ll have a video tutorial of a different circuit designed to burn fat quickly and speed up your metabolism.

First up, we’re working on the CR fat loss programme which includes a weighted squat, an incline chest press, lunges and a back press.

You’ll perform 12-15 reps on each of the four exercises with very little rest between each. Once you’ve done the four, take a one minute break and repeat four times.
