IT PROMISES TO be an emotional atmosphere at Wembley Stadium tonight as France take on England in an international friendly.

The fixture had been in doubt ever since the terror attacks in Paris on Friday night and the French captain Hugo Lloris did admit the players had concerns about playing in London.

But, the game is going ahead and the iconic venue is currently the scene of some heart-warming and disturbing scenes.

There is a huge show of solidarity and togetherness on show, as both sets of supporters pull together.

But, inevitably and expectedly, there is also a huge police presence with officers carrying weapons as they patrol the area surrounding the stadium.
