RACING MÉTRO’S 19-year-old prop William Ebongue Sipamio died on Tuesday two days after he helped his side win a national title, the French Top 14 club announced.
The cause of death was not immediately given.
Ebongue Sipamio, also a member of the French national academy, “died Tuesday evening in his room at Plessis-Robinson” where the club’s headquarters are located, Racing announced in a statement.
“An autospy is underway to determine the causes of death,” the club added without providing further details.

Racing, with Ebongue Sipamio in the team, won the U19 national title on Sunday.
