Zlatan is getting his own set of stamps in Sweden

“I mostly get bills and it is seldom they have nice stamps,” says Zlatan. “Maybe it will change now.”

IT WAS ONLY a matter of time really. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to be honoured with a series of stamps in his native Sweden.

Zlatan, who was also nominated for the FIFA Puskas Award today, features on five new stamps which will be launched in March 2014.

The man himself took an active part in helping designer Nina Ulmaja to create the collection.

His response to the news was typically brilliant.

“It is a great honour to be on postage stamp and I’m very happy and proud to be selected,” he said.
