The reason for that, if you’re not blue in the face from hearing it already is that skipping breakfast isn’t the evil bit, but it’s more the likelihood of what you’ll eat to compensate mid-morning.
Think high-fat snacks, which lead to weight gain.
But if we can just tempt you this way to try a very, very simple smoothie you might just like it and make it a habit.
Ingredients
- 50g of breakfast oats
- Fist of strawberries
- ½ mango peeled and diced
- A few spoons of low fat natural yoghurt
- A handful of ice.
That is it. Lob all of the above into a blender and in 30 seconds you’ll be on your way to kick-starting your metabolism and a healthier start to the day.
