Evening all and welcome along on a busy night of action in the Allianz football leagues.

In Division 1, it’s Dublin against Mayo in Croke Park while Tyrone entertain Monaghan in Omagh. Then in Division 2, it’s Cork against Meath in Páirc Uí Rinn. 

We’ll be focusing in particular on the clash of Dublin and Mayo from here in Croke Park with reports on all three games at the final whistle.

Two late changes to the Monaghan side to face Tyrone with Gavin Doogan and Stephen O’Hanlon in.

Cork have rang the changes for their match against Meath with six new faces as they chase a first league victory in this campaign. Sam Ryan, Kevin Walsh, Thomas Clancy (Clonakilty), Paul Walsh, Killian O’Hanlon and Paul Kerrigan are all in as they try to freshen up their side.

Looks like two late changes to the Dublin team with Cian O’Sullivan and Ciaran Kilkenny coming in to start.

So here’s the state of play ahead of tonight’s games:

• Mayo are three from three and sit on top of Division 1. They’ll be hoping to maintain their unbeaten run against a Dublin team with two points to date after losing twice in their opening three ties at the hands of Monaghan and Kerry.
• Tyrone are second from bottom on a single point in Division 1 with Monaghan in fifth on two points after losing their last two matches since that opening day triumph over Dublin.
• Cork are bottom of Division 2 with just one point to date, courtesy of a draw with Fermanagh, and Meath are in contrast on top with four points thanks to wins to date over Tipperary and Armagh.

And the action is underway.

• Tyrone 1-1 Monaghan 0-1: Early boost for last year’s All-Ireland finalists as Harte hits the net.
• Meath 0-2 Cork 0-1: Ruairi Deane gets Cork off the mark after Ben Brennan had previously doubled Meath’s advantage.

More shots off target in Croke Park as Mayo’s Colm Boyle and Dublin’s Mannion chalk up the wides.

Mayo can’t get a handle on their shooting so far. Aidan O’Shea makes the hard yards, offloads to Donal Vaughan but the strike tails to the left at the Hill 16 end.

And it falls to Mayo goalkeeper Rob Hennelly to get his side off the mark, smashing over a free brilliantly from 55 yards.

• Tyrone 1-1 Monaghan 0-4: Conor McManus has inspired Monaghan to draw them level.
• Meath 0-4 Cork 0-1: Mickey Newman converts a free that sends Meath clear by three.

Praise was on the way for Fionn McDonagh when the Mayo forward did really well to point but then Dublin countered at the other end with Costello galloping in from the left wing and smashing a shot to the net.

Mayo have lost Ger Cafferkey through injury, Chris Barrett comes into their defence.

Latest - Tyrone ahead 1-4 to 0-5 against Monaghan, Meath enjoying a 0-5 to 0-1 advantage over Cork.

A Paul Mannion free embellishes Dublin’s advantage further. Four to the good now.

Good goal chance for Dublin. They carve Mayo apart and Mannion’s close-range shot is blocked by the advancing Hennelly, the rebound hits Mannion’s leg and the covering Mayo defence clear it off the line.

Ciaran Kilkenny fists over a point for Dublin and then Lee Keegan is sent to the sin bin as Mayo must manage with 14 for the next while.

Costello on target for another Dublin point moments after a great chance materialised for Mayo but Andy Moran’s shot flashed across the goal and wide. Hennelly keeping Mayo in it, doing well at point-blank range to thwart a Jack McCaffrey goalbound shot.

Latest: Tyrone lead Monaghan by three, 1-6 to 0-6, and it’s similar story in Cork with Meath in front 0-6 to 0-3.

Dublin’s Evan Comerford saves Jason Doherty’s penalty for Mayo.

That’s a big setback for Mayo as Doherty drills a low shot that is turned outside the post by Comerford. Hennelly converts the resultant ’45 but Dublin will be happy with that. Jonny Cooper booked in the build-up to that penalty after fouling Doherty.

Classy kick over the bar by Jack McCaffrey earlier for Dublin. Mayo have lost Ciarán Treacy now to injury, Kevin McLouglin comes in.

Cork have come back into it against Meath, trailing now 0-6 to 0-5 after a brace from Luke Connolly.

Heroic stuff from Robbie Hennelly so far. He’s just denied Costello from netting twice for Dublin in the space of a minute.

Latest: Tyrone ahead 1-10 to 0-7 against Monaghan and Meath in complete control with a 1-11 to 0-6 advantage over Cork.

Hold up here at Croke Park as umpire is treated at the Davin End goal following a collision with Mayo’s Colm Boyle.

Brian Fenton hit that latest point for a Dublin side who are in command of this one.

Tyrone 1-12 Monaghan 0-7: Tyrone on course for their first win of the league as Niall Morgan sends them eight clear.

Meath 1-11 Cork 0-6: It’s looking good for Meath as well to get their third win of the spring, they’re eight ahead of Cork.

Ten or so minutes left in the various grounds and it’s Dublin, Tyrone and Meath all in the driving seat entering the finale.

Meath 1-11 Cork 1-6: A rare high point for Cork tonight as Powter, on as a substitute and playing for the first time in over a year, manages to hit the net.

Tyrone 1-14 Monaghan 0-7: Conor Meyler pushes Tyrone clear by ten points in Omagh, they’ve dominated the second half.

Dublin 1-9 Mayo 0-6
A Doherty converted free yields a point for Mayo as they try to claw back the deficit they face.

Dublin bring on a series of substitutes. Darren Daly, Seán Bugler and Michael Darragh MacAuley all on now.

Monaghan grab their first score of the second half in the 63rd minute through Ryan McAnespie but they trail Tyrone 1-15 to 0-8 after a dispiriting second-half showing.

Meath ahead 2-12 to 1-9 into injury-time against Cork in Páirc Uí Rinn. Seems like that goal from Dardis will clinch the points.

So a good night’s work in Division 1 for Dublin and Tyrone at the expense of Mayo and Monaghan respectively while Meath’s promotion bid in Division 2 has strengthened. Another tough night at the office for Cork who stay bottom of the second tier of the league.
