THERE ARE FEW things Eamon Dunphy likes more than putting the boot into ‘wasters’ after football matches and he was given ample ammunition by Man City tonight.
The Premier League champions were eliminated from the Champions League by Barcelona and afterwards Dunphy took issue with the effort levels of two of City’s big earners, Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri.
It was classic Dunphy, and it was brilliant.

After his City tirade, Dunphy also said Fellaini was like ‘a circus act’ and that Diego Simeone looked like ‘a Mexican pimp’.
