IT WAS EARLY last year when we heard news of ‘I, Tonya’ making its way through production. But now it’s almost here.
The first trailer for the movie based on the 1994 figure skating scandal – which saw Nancy Kerrigan attacked in an attempt to keep her out of the Olympic Games with injury – was unveiled today.
Margot Robbie voices the short trailer as Tonya Harding, the rival who has admitted she had knowledge of the organised attack on Kerrigan, and strikes a gritty tone from the opening shot where Robbie stubs out a cigarette with her skate to the acerbic line, “There’s no such thing as truth, I mean, it’s bullshit!”
