Murray, Stander, Zebo, Bleyendaal: Munster's medical staff have a LOT of 'assessments' to do this week

Get well soon, everyone.

MUNSTER HAVE TODAY been unable to provide much in the way of clarity regarding their injured players.

A statement on the province’s website states that Conor Murray (neck), CJ Stander and Simon Zebo (both ankle) will all be assessed further this week, though Stander is to undergo a scan on his injury.

Kiwi import Tyler Bleyendaal was due to arrive with the province in the first half of the season before being forced to undergo surgery on his neck after injury in the ITM Cup.

The province say the Crusaders back “has been cleared to travel and is scheduled to arrive in the province this weekend. On arrival he will be assessed further by the Munster medical team and continue to follow his rehabilitation programme.”

Johne Murphy has been ruled for ‘a number of weeks’ after breaking a bone in his hand during training last week. However, there is some good news in the shape of Dave Kilcoyne who is set to ‘step up’ his running this week.
