MUNSTER WILL FACE a couple of familiar faces when they travel to take on Worcester Warrriors in tomorrow night’s pre-season clash at Sixways Stadium.

Donncha O’Callaghan has been playing for Worcester since 2015 and he’s been joined for this season by Peter Stringer.

The pair were key members during Munster’s glory days in European rugby but will line out against the province tomorrow night.

O’Callaghan has been named in the second row and was today confirmed as club captain for the 2017/18 season while 39-year-old Stronger forms a half-back combination with Sam Olver.

Munster have named a strong side with 14 members of the senior squad set to start. Academy player Liam O’Connor completes the starting side when he will line out in the front row alongside Rhys Marshall and Stephen Archer.

Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus has handed newcomers Gerbrandt Grobler and Chris Farrell their first starts for the province while other new faces on the bench include Ciaran Parker and James Hart.

Tomorrow night’s game kicks off at 7.30pm.
