A BBC Olympics commentator is copping serious flak for this ‘sexist’ tea comment
LAST NIGHT, LAURA Trott added to Britain’s medal tally and became the team’s most successful female Olympian of all time.
Her fiance, Jason Kenny, won his sixth gold medal, and there were celebrations all round.
Trott watched on as her fiance matched Sir Chris Hoy’s six medals, and went straight in for a hug.
BBC commentator Chris Boardman came under fire for his commentary on the scene. He said:
A former Olympic gold medalist in cycling himself, Boardman quickly took to Twitter to clarify his remarks.
