Time flies much like the Colombian keeper.

IT’S ONE OF those ‘where were you moments’.

20 years ago yesterday, England were hosting Colombia at Wembley and — as he was prone to do — Jamie Redknapp hit a timid shot in the direction of René Higuita.

With the shot floating harmlessly towards him, almost everyone expected Higuita to catch the ball and move on.

But no, instead the keeper produced his infamous ‘Scorpion Kick’ and kids the length and breadth of the world ran out to their back gardens to immediately copy the move.
