WITH THE SUMMER transfer madness set to begin, we take a look at some of the most in-demand players according to the British media sources linked below.

1. Kylian Mbappe — Monaco to Man City (€130 million)

Compared with French footballing legend Thierry Henry and widely regarded as the best young striker in Europe, Man City and Real Madrid are among the clubs supposedly keen on signing the 18-year-old.

2. David de Gea — Man United to Real Madrid (€57 million)

Routinely referred to as one of the world’s best goalkeepers, Real Madrid have come close to signing the 26-year-old before, although United are reportedly still hopeful he will resist the lure of the newly crowned La Liga champions.

3. Wayne Rooney — Man United to the Chinese Super League (€23 million)

With Rooney seemingly surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, China or USA could be the likeliest destination for the English striker, with Everton understood to have cooled their interest in the 31-year-old of late.

4. Antoine Griezmann — Atletico Madrid to Man United  (€99 million)

A deal that looks set to be this summer’s most high-profile will-he-won’t-he saga, Jose Mourinho has claimed any prospective deal for the 26-year-old French international striker is in the hands of the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.

5.  Andrea Belotti — Torino to Arsenal (€97 million)

The 23-year-old Italian attacker could be an alternative to Griezmann for United, though Chelsea and Arsenal are also believed to be interested in the player, who has scored 30 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions this season.

6. Moussa Dembele — Celtic to AC Milan (€51 million)

A revelation for Celtic’s ‘Invincibles,’ scoring 32 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions since the start of the campaign, the 20-year-old forward is unlikely to remain in Scotland for much longer, with Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all understood to be contemplating a move for the player.

7. Harry Maguire — Hull to Tottenham (€25 million)

The 24-year-old defender impressed despite Hull’s relegation this season, with both Tottenham and Everton hopeful of acquiring his services.

8. Benjamin Mendy — Monaco to Liverpool (€45 million)

Mendy was one of the many young players to catch the eye in Monaco’s Champions League run this season, and therefore it is no surprise to see Liverpool, Man City and Man United all being linked with the 22-year-old left-back.

A long-term target for Man United as they seek to buy a young central defender with former player Michael Keane also being linked with a return to Old Trafford, though the 22-year-old Swedish international is also wanted by Roma.

Despite their FA Cup win at the weekend, most people expect 28-year-old Alexis Sanchez to leave Arsenal this summer in pursuit of Champions League, with Bayern Munich thought to be at the front of the queue for his signature.
