This advice from an Ireland international could really help you bulk up after the gym

While he recovers from injury, Andrew Trimble has some helpful advice for rugby players.

IT CAN BE immensely frustrating to toil away in the gym on a regular basis without seeing pristine results. Most of us focus so much on pumping iron that we forget that some of the most important work you can do to get fit doesn’t even happen during the workout.

What is good about that video is that Trimble isn’t suggesting that we all adopt salad-only diets. Eggs, chicken and beef – that doesn’t seem too bad, does it?

At least we know that when the Ulster wing finally returns from his troublesome toe injury, he will be as fit as ever.
