A FEW MINUTES ago, Munster just about edged the Ospreys at Thomond Park to move into next weekend’s Pro12 final. One of the main reasons they advanced to face Glasgow was their freight train of an eight, CJ Stander… but he also made one massive booboo.
After tries from Simon Zebo and Denis Hurley gave Munster a 13-point lead, Stander threw this ridiculous pass right into Rhys Webb’s gut, giving the scrum-half an easy run-in.
To Stander’s credit, he followed that error with a big carry into the opposition half that laid the groundwork for Paddy Butler’s try. You can’t keep CJ down for very long.
