Do you agree with our Champions League team of the week?

Santi Cazorla, Lionel Messi and John Terry all feature in this week’s lineup.

Damián Martínez (Arsenal): MADE ONE PARTICULARLY impressive save at an important moment in the game, as the inexperienced 22-year-old proved he is a player that Arsenal can rely upon when necessary.

Aymen Abdennour (Monaco): Put in a commanding display at the back, as Monaco secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen, which means their qualification fate is in their own hands on the final day.

John Terry (Chelsea): Looked assured in defence and also proved influential in attack, as Terry’s header put Chelsea in the driving seat against Schalke after just two minutes.

Aleksandr Anyukov (Zenit): The Russian international put in a typically solid display at full-back for Zenit, as they secured a potentially vital 1-0 victory over Benfica

Georgi Terziev (Ludogorets): Looked relatively solid in defence for Ludogorets and scored the all-important equaliser late on to keep the Bulgarians’ faint Champions League hopes alive.

Arda Turan (Atlético Madrid): Was generally quite influential and laid on an assist for one of Mandzukic’s goals, as Atlético ran riot.

Santi Cazorla (Arsenal): Put in an intelligent, composed display, as Arsenal secured a much-needed confidence boost in the form of a 2-0 win over Dortmund.

Willian (Chelsea): One of Chelsea’s more underrated players, Willian put in another accomplished performance on Tuesday night. He was the catalyst for much of their good work and chipped in with a goal to boot.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona): We have long since run out of superlatives for the Argentine superstar, and he conformed to expectations again the other night, hitting a glorious hat-trick, and breaking the Champions League goalscoring record in the process, as Barca strolled to an easy 4-0 win over APOEL.

Sergio Aguero (Man City): An easy choice — Aguero was the difference between City and Bayern, as he masterfully rescued his side from Champions League near-certain elimination.

Mario Mandzukic (Atlético Madrid): The Croatian international showed his poacher’s instincts, hitting an opportunistic hat-trick as Atlético easily overcame Olympiakos 4-0.

Subs: Iraizoz (Bilbao), Chancel Mbemba Mangulu (Anderlecht), Raúl Garcia (Atlético Madrid), Frank Lampard (Man City), Héctor Herrera (Porto), Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal), Karim Benzema (Real Madrid).
