Donaghy dropped, as Crowley and Curtin start for Kerry

Jack O’Connor has made one or two interesting choices ahead of his side’s game with Tipperary.

PETER CROWLEY AND Patrick Curtin have both been named in the Kerry line-up for the Munster GAA Football Championship quarter-final against Tipperary on Sunday.

The relatively inexperienced duo have been impressive in Kerry’s Allianz League matches this year, as manager Jack O’Connor looks to introduce more youth into the side.

Curtin will play at corner forward, while Crowley starts at wing back.

Kieran Donaghy only makes the bench, though Declan O’Sullivan and Kieran O’Leary have both been handed starts.

Elsewhere, Daniel Bohan starts at full back, owing to Marc Ó Sé’s absence.

Kerry (SF v Tipperary): B Kealy; S Enright, D Bohan, K Young; T Ó Sé, E Brosnan, P Crowley; A Maher, B Sheehan; P Galvin, Darran O’Sullivan, K O’Leary; C Cooper, Declan O’Sullivan, P Curtin.
