NFL Division 1
Armagh 1-11 Dublin 2-12 A late Bernard Brogan goal was the difference between the sides in an entertaining encounter in the newly-refurbished Athletic Grounds on Saturday evening.
Mayo 1-13 Down 3-7 Down couldn’t hang on to a seven-point lead as a late point from Andy Moran stole a draw for James Horan’s Mayo.
Kerry 1-13 Cork 0-17 Cork ran out winners by a point in a thoroughly enjoyable encounter yesterday, with Daniel Goulding and Donncha O’Connor racking up 13 points between them.
Monaghan 0-19 Galway 0-14 Long periods of dominance either side of half-time was enough to see Monaghan past Galway yesterday.
NFL Division 2
Donegal 2-11 Sligo 1-14 Stephen Griffin grabbed a late, late equaliser for 14-man Donegal as his side overcame a three-point deficit with two minutes to play in Ballybofey on Saturday night.
Derry 1-11 Tyrone 0-13 A late red card for substitute Niall Holly couldn’t prevent Derry from holding on for a slender one-point victory at Celtic Park yesterday.
Antrim 0-11 Kildare 1-17 Kieran McGeeney’s side laid down a marker with a nine-point win over Division Two new boys Antrim.
Laois 1-14 Meath 1-11 Laois reversed the form from last week’s O’Byrne Shield encounter with seven points from MJ Tierney proving to be difference between the sides.
NFL Division 3
Tipperary 0-10 Limerick 0-6 John Evans’ men ground out a four-point victory in a low-scoring affair in Semple Stadium yesterday.
Wexford 4-11 Waterford 2-6 Free-scoring Wexford were convincing winners in this Division Three clash at Wexford Park, Ben Brosnan chipping in with 2-5 in total.
Offaly 1-12 Cavan 0-8 Seven unanswered first-half points proved to be the difference in this one as Tom Cribbin’s men got off the mark in Division Three.
NFL Division 4
London 0-16 Kilkenny 0-2 The Exiles were this weekend’s big winners, racing into an 0-13 to no score lead at half-time before cantering to a 14-point win over Kilkenny.
Leitrim 0-12 Clare 0-11 There was drama aplenty in this one as Leitrim left it late before Wayne McKeown’s injury-time point saw off 13-man Clare.
Longford 1-7 Roscommon 0-10 A late Seán McCormack free was enough to secure a share of the spoils for Longford in this one.
Carlow 2-10 Wicklow 1-13 Both sides finished with 14 men as it finished all-square in Dr. Cullen Park.
