You can't get away from them: GAA fans can watch The Sunday Game abroad next year

Ex-pats will be able to see Tomas O’Se’s snappy suits throughout the championship.

THOUSANDS OF IRISH people have been forced to leave the country over the last number of years in search of work but one thing that always keeps people in touch with home is the GAA.

That connection will be even stronger after today’s announcement that the Sunday Game highlights show and over 40 matches are being added to the GAAGO package that can be viewed by fans outside of Ireland.

Whether you want to watch highlights of your team, or see what Kildare housewives favourite Dermot Earley will say next, you can now tune into Des Cahill and the panel for 20 weeks over the course of the championship.

“The Sunday Game has been going strong for 35 years, and has been essential viewing on Sunday evenings for many people in Ireland over that time,” Cahill said.

“It’s great to know that GAA fans, and fans of the show, even if they are thousands of miles from home, can now watch the show live or on-demand on GAAGO. GAA supporters, no matter where they are in the world, can now get involved in the discussion and debate on The Sunday Game, and I know that’s important to them.”

For fans living outside of Ireland and Britain, the GAAGO season pass costs €160 and gives you access to over 120 games from the football and hurling championships, the league and minor and U21 championships. Fans living in Britain can buy a reduced package for €100.

If you don’t want to pay for the season, individual games can be purchased for €10 or €14 for the All-Ireland quarter-final, semi-final and final.
