Ireland's Eoin Doyle is scoring goals for fun in League One

Irish internationals Conor Sammon and Paul Green were also both on target last night.

EOIN DOYLE TOOK his tally for the season to 20 after scoring a brace in Chesterfield’s 3-0 win over Crawley Town last night.

Consequently, the Dubliner is the first player to reach 20 goals in the English league this season.

The £2million-rated 26-year-old former Sligo Rovers striker has impressed in League One this campaign, and is understood to have attracted interest from a number of clubs during the January Transfer Window, including Celtic, Sheffield United and Derby.

In addition, fellow Irishman Jay O’Shea was also on target, as Chesterfield moved up to fifth in League One following their win.

Elsewhere last night, Ireland internationals Conor Sammon and Paul Green both scored as Championship strugglers Rotherham beat Neil Lennon’s Bolton 4-2.
