“It’s a day all Irish sailors can be proud of,” said James O’Callaghan, Irish Sailing’s Performance Director.

The Rio silver medallist is bidding to qualify for a third Games, but this time in a different event with team-mate Katie Tingle.
It’s not all plain sailing for the 21-year-old Trinity College student though.
The facility will be built in Dún Laoghaire at a cost of €300,000.
The Belfast native competed at the Olympics in 2012 and 2016.
