Kerry ratify Jack O'Connor for new two-year term as manager

The five-time All-Ireland winning boss is remaining in charge.

JACK O’CONNOR HAS been ratified for a new two-year term as Kerry senior manager.

The move was rubber-stamped at a Kerry county board meeting tonight.

He will be joined again by his management team of coach Cian O’Neill, Aodán MacGearailt, James Costello, and Pa McCarthy.

There had been speculation over O’Connor’s future in the wake of Kerry’s All-Ireland final success over Donegal last month, with the manager suggesting in that aftermath that this would be his last season as manager.

But the five-time All-Ireland senior winning boss has now opted to remain in charge.

He will bid next season to complete back-to-back All-Ireland successes for the first time as manager. His victories to date have occurred in 2004, 2006, 2009, 2022, and 2025.
