KEITH EARLS LOOKS likely to miss Munster’s Champions Cup clash with Racing 92 in Paris on Sunday [KO 3.15pm Irish time, Sky Sports 2].
The Ireland international suffered a concussion in last weekend’s inter-provincial meeting with Leinster at the Aviva Stadium and took no part in Munster’s training session at the University of Limerick today.
However, the news on loosehead prop Dave Kilcoyne – who also sustained a concussion last weekend – is more positive for director of rugby Rassie Erasmus.
16-times capped Ireland prop Kilcoyne trained with Munster this afternoon, and a final decision on his availability for the weekend will be taken tomorrow.
With loosehead James Cronin serving a four-week suspension for a stamping offence during the defeat to Leinster, Erasmus will be hopeful that Kilcoyne can come through his return-to-play protocols without any delay.
New Munster out-half Steve Crosbie, formerly of Leinster, joined up with the squad at today’s training session, having joined the province earlier this week on a three-month development contract.
Crosbie had a stint with Heartland Championship outfit Wanganui in New Zealand before his return to Ireland.
