Fitzgerald to make first league start for Kerry

The Dr Crokes man comes in at wing-back for the suspended Tomás Ó Sé.

FIONN FITZGERALD MAKES his full league debut for Kerry when they take on Down in Tralee tomorrow evening.

Fitzgerald comes in at wing-back to replace the suspended Tomás Ó Sé, one of four changes made by Eamonn Fitzmaurice as he looks to end his side’s winless start to the Division 1 campaign.

Brian Maguire replaces Peter Crowley on the opposite wing while fit-again Anthony Maher returns from injury to partner Eoin Brosnan in midfield.

Up front, Declan O’Sullivan is fit to take his place in the full-forward line alongside Kieran Donaghy and his namesake Darran.

Paul Galvin is named among the substitutes.
