'£77 to watch that!' Hilarious Irish Liverpool fan reacts to ticket price hike

Meanwhile, manager Jurgen Klopp seemed to express sympathy with the supporters over the issue.

THERE’S BEEN PLENTY of anger about Liverpool’s proposed ticket price hike in recent days, and one Irish fan of the club has summed up the widespread sense of disillusionment at Anfield of late.

Speaking to The Redmen TV, the individual in question let loose on James Milner, Jordan Henderson and football in general.

You can watch the full rant above.

Meanwhile, reports yesterday suggest Liverpool owners will meet to review the new ticket schemes in light of recent supporter protests.

Speaking about the controversy, manager Jurgen Klopp, who was absent at the weekend as he was undergoing emergency surgery on an appendix problem, said: “I heard about this problem but I’ve had a lot of things to do in the last few weeks, but now I know it is my problem too, of course.

But everything I could say about this now would make it more complicated because first of all I have to collect a few bits of information.

“What I know is everyone in the club has a big interest in finding a solution for this.

It is not what we want, we don’t want the people leaving the stadium before the game is finished.

“That is all I can say about this, but of course when I heard it (the walkout) I was disappointed.”
