Anthony Pilkington is on the way out of Norwich

The midfielder is joining Cardiff City according to reports

ANTHONY PILKINGTON WILL swap the Canaries for the Bluebirds with reports saying that he will move to Championship side Cardiff City. Irish fans have long hoped that Pilkington will make a serious impact at international level and the midfielder will now be under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in Cardiff.

Last week, Wes Hoolahan signed a new deal at Carrow Road but the out of favour Pilkington will instead have a new challenge at a club in similar circumstances to his old one. Both clubs are freshly relegated and now the former teammates will both be trying to get back into the Premier League.

Solskjaer will be hoping Pilkington can repeat some of the heroics that he displayed against the Norwegian’s old club a few years ago. According to Walesonline, the fee for Pilkington is just over £1 million.
