Robbie Keane scores twice in LA Galaxy win

The Irishman’s side comfortably beat opponents Chivas in a 5-0 rout.

ROBBIE KEANE TONIGHT continued his excellent season with LA Galaxy, scoring twice as they outclassed Chivas 5-0, helping to end his side’s four-game winless streak in the process.

The first was a routine tap-in, while the second was an altogether more impressive half-volley following a clever looped through ball.

Landon Donovan, meanwhile, hit a brace, while Gyasi Zardes was also on target.

The news will be welcomed by Ireland boss Noel King, particularly after it was confirmed that another one of his strikers, Jon Walters, was forced to pull out of the squad for the upcoming Germany earlier.
