DURING HIS PLAYING career with the likes of Sampdoria and Lazio, the mere sight of Sinisa Mihajlovic stepping up to the edge of the area to take a free-kick would be enough to send any goalkeeper into a panic.
His remarkable left-foot thumped, blasted and curled set-pieces to the net in various grounds around the world, marking him out as a specialist, an artist.
And it seems that even at the age of 48, he hasn’t lost it.
Coaching in Serie A ever since retiring in 2006, he’s had a variety of managerial gigs, most notably at AC Milan.
He’s now at Torino and during a recent pre-season training session, he decided to see what his goalkeepers were made of when it came to stopping his shots.
The results were pretty remarkable.
