Tipp, Limerick, Cork and Waterford name teams for Munster MHC semi finals

The last four clashes take place tomorrow night.

THE SEMI-FINALS take place in the Electric Ireland Munster minor hurling championship tomorrow night.

Reigning champions at this grade Tipperary play Limerick in Semple Stadium in Thurles.

While Cork entertain Waterford in Páirc Uí Rinn.

The throw-in for both games is at 7.30pm.

Here’s the team news ahead of the matches.

Tipperary

The Premier side shows two changes from the team which defeated Waterford in the quarter final. Ross Mulcahy and Sam Conlon come into the team in place of the injured Austin Tierney and Shane Hennessy.

Limerick

The Shannonsiders are making their 2013 competitive debut at this level after getting a bye to the semi-final stage.

They have survivors from last year in Richard English, Cian Lynch, Ronan Lynch, Pat Ryan and Darragh Donovan, who all featured in the Munster semi-final loss to Clare.

Cork

There are two changes to the Cork side from the team that defeated Clare in their Munster championship opener by 3-15 to 2-14. Alan O’Callaghan comes in at wing-back for Mark O’Keeffe while Mark O’Connor replaces Aaron Ward at corner-forward.

Waterford

The Deise have drafted in four new players to the side with Gavin Power selected in goal, Kevin Daly and Cian Leamy coming into the defence while ace attacker Stephen Bennett starts at full-forward.

There is one positional change as a result with Conor Gleeson moving to midfield from the full-forward berth he occupied in the 4-18 to 1-10 victory in their provincial play-off against Clare in May.
