Ulster name strong side for Pro12 opener

While Connacht hand a debut to winger Niyi Adeolokun.

LES KISS HAS named a strong starting fifteen for Ulster’s first Pro12 game of the season away to the Scarlets tomorrow. South African fullback Louis Ludik gets his first start while Jared Payne will play at outside centre.

Chris Henry, Robbie Diack and Dan Tuohy all start in an experienced pack for Ulster, who have a strong bench with Andrew Trimble, Luke Marshall and Nick Williams among the replacements.

Meanwhile, Quinn Roux, Niyi Adeolokun and Ian Porter will all make their debut for Connacht at home to the Dragons tomorrow. Pat Lam has had to lean on some of his younger players due to the host of injuries in the squad. John Muldoon will captain the side in a back row that also includes Eoin McKeon and Jake Heenan.

Former academy player Conor Finn could also make his debut off the bench.
