BRIAN KERR HAS his own unique style of commentating and is known for using more than the odd colloquialism during matches.

The former Ireland manager was on duty for Today FM’s Premier League Live in this afternoon’s Manchester derby between United and City at Old Trafford.

Referring to City schemer David Silva, he said: ”He’s only little. You might find him in the bottom of a lucky bag.”

He later added: ”Silva has been twinkle toes. It’s like he’s playing in his slippers when everyone else has boots on.”

On United’s recent arrival Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Kerr stated: “He’s like a stupid dog running after the bone. He just keeps movin’ all the time.”

He also said Wayne Rooney looked like “a pub player”.

Never change.
