New Kit

What do you think of the new Cork GAA jersey which was unveiled this evening?

This is the kit the Rebels will be sporting next year.

THE CORK COUNTY Board have this evening announced a new three-year partnership with Chill Insurance and officially unveiled its new jersey for the 2016 season.

The seven-figure sponsorship deal will cover both the Cork Senior Football and Hurling teams as well as the U21 panels.

Chill Insurance, one of Ireland’s leading brokers, became primary sponsor of Cork GAA in March 2013 after taking over from mobile provider 02.

Although the value of the annual sponsorship contribution wasn’t disclosed, as such sponsorship deals are viewed as commercially sensitive by the GAA, it was reported it was one of the biggest commercial deals in the GAA.

At the launch of the brand new strip at Pairc Uí Rinn earlier, Cork County Board Chairman Gerard Lane said:

“The association with Cork GAA is a high profile sporting opportunity, and we have an obligation to find partners that share our ethos and are committed to our teams, clubs and supporters. Chill Insurance is a strong Irish business, with the same determination to succeed as our players, so it is a good day for Cork GAA all round.”

The brand new Cork jersey is once again manufactured by O’Neill’s and go on sale, in stores and online, from this Friday.

Will you be at the front of the queue?
