DROGHEDA UNITED HIT four second-half goals as they came from behind to beat Bray in a basement battle on Friday night.

Goals from Sean Brennan, Mick Daly, Daryl Kavanagh and Tiarnan Mulvenna lifted Drogheda away from the drop zone and into ninth place.

Chris Lyons opened the scoring for Bray with the only goal of the first half but Brennan had Drogs back on level terms in the opening minute of the second half.

Daly and Kavanagh then struck twice in the space of three minutes before the hour mark to set the hosts on course for their first league win since 13 March.

Peter McGlynn gave Bray a lifeline in the 68th minute but substitute Mulvenna secured the points and condemned managerless Bray to their fourth straight defeat.
