DUBLIN TEAM-MATES BERNARD Brogan and Ciaran Kilkenny will face off as St Oliver Plunkett’s-Eoghan Ruadh take on Castleknock in one of the standout ties of the next round of the Dublin senior football championship.

The fixture details have been confirmed for the second round ties with the meeting of the 2014 and 2016 beaten finalists pencilled in for Saturday 13 May in Parnell Park at 5.30pm.

Brogan was in impressive form at the first round stage last week as his club knocked out 2016 All-Ireland champions Ballyboden St-Enda’s.

The other marquee fixture sees reigning champions St Vincent’s take on Na Fianna on Thursday 11 May.

Dublin players Diarmuid Connolly, Johnny Cooper (fitness permitting), Shane Carthy and Conor McHugh will all be in line to play in that game in Parnell Park.

It will be the third successive season that the clubs have faced off with St Vincent’s winning the 2015 semi-final by 0-22 to 2-9 and the 2016 second round tie by 1-14 to 1-6.
