IT’S BEEN ANOTHER brilliant week of racing in Ballybrit and this year’s festival is set to conclude with a bang this afternoon.

There are eight races going to post in Galway and it’s certainly not too late to win yourself a few bob if you play your cards right.

The feature race of the day is the The Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Handicap at 15.20. Piri Wango with Colin Keane aboard is the favourite at 9/2 but we’ve set our eyes on Have A Nice Day.

The Sabrina Harty trained horse is on a hat-trick of wins after two at the Curragh and is well worth a punt at 7/1.

Baraweez is installed as the second favourite and many are tipping the Barry Ellison trained horse to challenge on Sunday.

Sunday’s race card:

  • 14.15: The Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle
  • 14.45: The Galway Shopping Centre Handicap Hurdle
  • 15:20: The Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Handicap
  • 15:55: The At The Races Steeplechase
  • 16:30: The Lord Hemphill Memorial Handicap Steeplechase
  • 17:00: The JPK Fencing Handicap
  • 17:30: The Trappers Inn European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden
  • 18:00: The Fr. Breen Memorial (Pro-Am) Flat Race
